Airbag Problem

Today, I had to slam on brakes because some moron pulled out in front of me. My airbag light started flashing, and after a few minutes, turned solid. The code is 27 (2 flashes, pause 7 flashes). My PAD wouldn't illuminate after that either. I really don't think the light went bad right when I hit the brakes. My truck has done this before about a year ago- I got a code 27, the PAD wouldn't illuminate, adn then it came back on. What could be going on? I just don't get how slamming on the brakes caused a code 27 to appear! Thanks!

Yeah, that PAD light IS your problem.

You want someone to come fix it for you too?

No you bastard, that thread didn't really apply to me. My airbag light came on after a hard stop, not just randomly. I was trying to figure out the connection between the two. Smart *** Bastard, i'm done with this site. Everytime I get on, there are bastards I have to deal with. I am off to a better site, rangerpowersports.com

SEE YA!

Had you actually bothered to read the link provided, it answered you questions exactly. Allow me to help by putting it right here for you once again attempt to read. I'll even blow the text up and make it pretty and colorful for you so it sticks out even more.

In about a week, once you remove your foot from your mouth, feel free to apologize to the people in this thread you blew up on and insulted for helping you fix your problem. On any other day, I would simply ban your account for such blithering douche baggery but in this case I think I will give you an opportunity to answer for you actions.

edit- oh look, too late. Wen-Weh.

Turn the key to the on position on the air bag swith LOL jk, no clue. I would be worried about any light for the airbag being on. Doesn't autozone pep-boys still offer free OBDII scans ?
