2001 Ranger Mods

2001 Ranger Mods
I'm getting to the point that I want to start modding my 01 Ranger Edge.
First, whats the largest tires I can fit on the stock stance?
Second, are their cheap options to level the front? (w/o altering torsion bars)
or what suspension lift options do I have?
Third, has anyone installed headers, do they work good? (4.0L)
Fourth, where does everyone shop for aftermarket parts for Rangers?
Fifth, where can I find clear corner lenses?
Sixth, what are some other cool mods that you guys have done/ can think of?
Sorry about all the questions but I just want to get some good background info, before I take the plunge in modding.

first decide a theme to ur truck? do you want blue and shiny, or blue and black.
if that were my truck, since it is an edge, id go blue and black. id start by doing the headlight mod
Generation-Edge.info Forum - Headlight Mod
then id do the nightsahde mod by nightshading the taillights.
then id get eight a black diamondplate toolbox OR get a regular diamondplate and coat it with the sprayin bedliner in a rattlecan.
next invest in a real sprayin bedliner.
then id purchase some nice wheels and tires...
get rid of the step rails if they have them on it....
etc...

well, I have a toolbox, painting it black could be cool.
I have a plastic bedliner.
What do you mean nightshade?
I'm very much against body lift, they look weird, but I bet you can do them with the body gap.
I'm looking at the Superlift 4" lift, its a bit of money, but I prefer suspension lifts.
I did see the ebay ones, do you think the blackout corner lenses would be a good addition to that headlight mod?

also nightshading is tinting ur tailights by spray8ing them with this:
they sell it at ur local advance auto. you put several coats on ur taillights until they are as dark as you want them (be sure to tape up reverse lights)
check out this thread...it is an example of VHT nightshade on a Fusion:

suspencsion lift is the cheapest way to lift, and as you now suspension lift is expensive, but is better....

If 4x4, only option currently out there is the 4" Superlift system. I have it and love it. Out of production is the 5" RCD coil-over conversion kit and the ill designed 4" Trailmaster balljoint-spacer lift.
If 2wd, you've got 3" or 3.5" Spindle lifts avaliable from many different brands. There's even some long travel kits out there, but I'm not too knowlegable in them. Camburg/Camberg makes some BADASS kits.
