My 94's calipers (actually only one went, piston was stiff and was starting to leak), were replaced with moderate quality ones that are still on there, about 3 years ago, but one is starting to leak and one rotor & pad are grooved up, I'll be changing to 95'+ spindles with a compatible hub for a 13" Cobra brake.
You could replace your current single piston setup for a more reliable and stronger brake by switching to 95" spindles for the dual-piston calipers, if reliability has become an issue.
Sorry if this didn't help, couldn't 100% understand what you meant, Kyle.
