1995 Ford Ranger Headlight Switch...
My headlight switch, the main one in the dash to the right of the steering wheel is old... lol i have been using pliers to turn my lights on and off for the past two years, and it finally got bad enough that i had to pull my dash apart, now i come to realize that most of the wires back there are corroded. What i was wondering is if it were possible to replace that switch with just a simple on off toggle, and if so, how would i go about wiring such a thing. What i am hoping for is a wiring guide, for example what color wire goes to what. i have seen this done before, i just don't know if it is possible with my truck. Any advice?
Also my dash lamps and instrument lamps are all dead, replaced the bulbs to no avail. i am assuming this has to do with the corrosion, or the dimmer switch, any info on that?
