Cuise Control Rewired for Aftermarket Steering Wheel
Was reading a post on replacing OEM Cruise Pods with new ones.
Got me thinking about replacing my steering wheel.
Thinking about using push button controls instead of OEM.
Another thought was the push button switches will not be able to be mounted on the steer wheel.
Was wondering if anyone had the wiring color codes and schematics for the Cruise Control Pods.
Any information on what's what would be appreciated.

The top diagram here:

Looks like just 3 wires are needed.

Maybe this will help.
According to the diagram the push buttons each send a different voltage to the Cruise module.
ON passes power(12v) to the other switches thru a 1,000ohm(1k) resistor
Resume uses a 2200ohm resistor
Set/Accel use 680ohm resistor
Coast use 120ohm resistor
So you need those resistors on the temp buttons you use
