2 problems

i have a 97 ford ranger 4.0 4wheel drive, ok well the ac is out. the compressor is leaking i have that one figured out but for some reason i only have heat in the cab. vent, floor, defrost, doesn't matter, all i can get is max heat, no cool air at all. any ideas?

Do a search for blend door actuator.
There was a thread a couple years ago with pics on how to repair it.

Check vacume lines and maybe the hvac controls are shot.

You do know the compressor will not run in temps under 40 degreess in the AC mode?
