Grease fittins

Grease fittins

i was doing some maintinance and i found 2 of the grease fittings on the front tire area, i am just wondering if there are more than 2 on my truck? my booklet doesnt say, and i dont have alot of time to search online.

its a 2000 Xlt 4x4 super cab witha 4.0

Stock, the truck has NO grease fittings. If you've got 2 zerks up front, that means regular maintence has been performed. Check all ball joints, tie rod ends, and ujoints on your driveshafts. That's where they'll all be.

Ya, mines not 4wd but I never had any grease zerks either. When I replaced my drivers side ball joints, the lower one came with a zerk on it. So that means probably someone has changed your ball joints before.
