2005 Ford Ranger Dash Removal?

Hello, how do you remove this piece? http://imgur.com/5I7yRfW

I was wanting to add this part to my truck instead for a cb radio, is anyone familiar with these? CB Radio Accessories :: Mounts and Brackets :: CB Radio Hump Mount with Speaker Wondering how easy or hard this is to do. That piece just takes up a ton of space in my truck for my cb radio and I think I needed to yank it out. Thanks forum helpers!

It comes out with a couple of screws. If you lift up the rubber cover, you'll see it

x2.. under that flat part of rubber, there are 2 screws. While you're at it, you should replace it with the console that has the 2 cup holders. Much more useful.

Rubber cover? You mean the floor itself? I unscrewed the two screws in the cubby hole that were there. But it seems like at the beginning of the plastic piece it seems to be caught on something or mounted on something and I'm not sure where to remove that piece at. What kind of tool should I use to remove it? I don't see anymore screws at all.

The flat part of the console closest to the seat... not the floor.. The part surrounded by that plastic lip... it's rubber.. go poke it. Peel it back. It's kind of glued on there.. once you pull that back you will see 2 more screws.

The part where I drew the red circle.. peel it back. The little red circles are approximately where the 2 screws are.

Holy crap! So that part just peels off? Is it a pain to peel? Or is it relatively simple? I had no idea it did that. Not sure where to grip and peel at honestly.

Just use a razor or flathead or knife or something.. It's not hard to peel back, but it might be hard if you're trying to use your fingernail or something.
