Turn the temperature up also if you've had them in that long. I had mine in for 19 minutes and was able to get them apart.

maybe your headlights don't want to come apart. i have a feeling your going to have another thread entitled: BROKE MY HEADLAMPS!
i know i'm being lazy, but if t were me, i'd go onto e-bay and spend the $70 for a set of already professionally blackened headlamps. i prefer the safe and easy method.

Its really easy to tell if they're going to come apart or not. Its not as risky as you would think.

Well wet rags and 250 degree temp later it finally got them separated... Now they are taped and primed. Waiting for primer to dry.

However I noticed that I have done mine a little different than the majority that I have seen when I taped. I guess I will see how mine turn out

Nice, and yeah they start to come apart easily at the "right" temperature. I baked my headlights for about 12-14 minutes at 225 or so. Came right apart. Taping took me a while tho, hehe. My Clear corners were WAY harder to separate!!! Took about 3-4 tries on the first corner and second one was quick. Practice makes perfect.

Good luck!

How wet should the rags be or does it matter? My extra set of headlights are going in the oven in a minute.

If it matters I didn't use any rags, but I would have them damp.

If they don't start budging after 15 minutes, turn the temp up 50 degrees.

I want to do this. But I might end up getting the premade ones because one of my headlights has a big honking scratch in it from that street sign!!! We will see when the time comes.

What kind of adhesive are you guys using to put these back together? Just silicone?
