theres no sunroof and the rear glass is manual no power locks. no fuses are blown so i dont know what it would be going to. when i press it it only seems like it is a switch that presses down.

Just tell who ever is riding with you it is a flaky seat ejection switch. Some times it works, sometimes it doesnt. Why dont you find out

remove the button and look behind it. Or remove your center bezel to look behind and see what the button is wired too. It's interesting!

It looks like an aftermarket window switch from the image on it, maybe who ever had the truck before just removed whatever it went to and left the switch in just to keep from leaving a hole in the dash.

Why would you knowingly post a picture that was sideways? And after you discovered it, why not fix it?

Does it really matter if it's sideways? Everyone still knew what the picture was. And yes it does look like some type of window switch.

How do you know his monitor isn't on its side? For all you know it could be right side up on his end, or he could of rolled his truck onto its side, thus making the "normal" camera holding position dispense a sideways picture.

It's never a good idea to assume.
