4WD issues please help!
my 1994 Ford Ranger XLT v6 4.0L 5 speed fwd has been having issues.
I purchased a new transfer case moter about 3 months ago, for the electronic shift between 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive. i bolted it on, and worked great until recently now when ever i shift into 4wd it works but when i switch it back into two wheel it seems to be stuck between 2 wheel and 4 wheel, if i go into reverse i can go 15 feet before the gears stop and lock the tires from moving but when i drive it grinds a lot
Is a synchronization issue with the transfer case motor or could it possibly be low on front differential fluid or is the transfer case itself low on fluid?
