wiring help with OBD conversion

This is for a 2.3 ranger

I ran this as turbo coupe swap for a few years for my little brother.

issue im running into is now i am in the middle of a OBD II swap, using a 96 ranger ecm and harness with coil packs and OBD II harness.

I want to use the 2.3 cam sychronizer and i have it installed (see below)

https://www.carpartkings.com/a1-card...FaVZ7Aod0D0ARw

I have pinned the ecu and harness out and i have the truck and the OBD II port talking and working. The tuneup is flashed and I am ready to start the truck.

However. I am using a 96 ranger ECM with a 2 wire Cam sensor. The synchronizer appears to be a 4 wire sensor.

All the diagrams i pull up for a 95 or 96 ranger show a 2 wire sensor or a 3 wire sensor. I have plug that fits the 4 wire synchronizer.

I assume its a 3 wire synchronizer with one pin not being used?

Again the diagrams i see dont show me where the wires go into the sensor at they just show where they go to the ecm at.

any ideas? I looked around at rock auto and called ford but all the plugs you can buy are all black wires so that dont help. I guess i need to go junkyard hunting a plug so i dont fry an ecm? Thought maybe someone might have one and could provide a picture.

In the tuneup software you can select a 2 wire or 3 wire cam sensor.

thanks for any help or input
