98 Ranger 3.0 BCM location
Does anyone know where the Body Control Module for a 98 Ranger 3.0 is located?
Also, My rangers power windows, dome light, speedo, windshield wipers have stopped working as well as the automatic transmission wont shift past 1 gear in Drive. My cd player, locks and other accessories work. Ive checked all the fuses and they appear to be fine and I didn't see a relay that I thought would cause all these things to fail at the same time. Ive been told that my BCM may have gone bad, What all could be causing this to happen and is it in fact the BCM?
Any help is much appreciated

The Generic Electronic Module (Ford's name for the BCM) is inside the dash near the radio.
Before pulling the head unit to access the GEM, I would double check fuses 10, 20, 25, 27, 28 in the dash fuse panel.
If the fuses are OK, I would then reinitialize the GEM by following this sequence: turn off the key; remove fuse 25 for a minute; reinstall 25; then key up and test all functions.
