Run at Fast Idle?

DO NOT DO AN ENGINE FLUSH!!!
Every single car that has come to work for an engine flush comes back 5-10000 miles later with valve noise! All the carbon/buildup gets broken up in the engine and clogs the oil pump pick-up. Therefore decreasing flow of oil to the rest of the motor. I hope i posted this in time.
BTW for reference, i am a Tech at a local dodge dealer so i'm not talking out my ***.

you dont HAVE to flush to change, but if there is buildup that could potentially damage the engine, then there is ALREADY a problem that needs to be fixed. using the flush will not CREATE this problem, rather allow it to occur sooner than it would. even then you would need a LOT of buildup to be solid enough to stay solid in the engine and clog the oil pickup. that much buildup would need to be addressed at any rate.
