Airbag code question

Ok, after doing the expo center console swap, i got the 2-7 flashing airbag code, i've searched...well trent searched while i was flipping out, and theres something you can do with soldering and stuff....i dont know how to solder, nor know anyone who does solder. so the question at hand is, can i take the airbag unit out of a ranger at the jy, or just take the circuit board out of one at the jy and put it in mine and it function correctly? TIA

Ryan buddy, just take that entire unit out. It will be so much easier and I doubt it will cost much at all. That code is for the light being burnt out no need for a new airbag unit.

Are you sure its cut just for your key? It might be just for any key to stick in there, try a different key and see if it does anything.

Just about any thing that fits in the slot will work too. ie: nail file, popsicle stick, etc.
