Hi, I have a 1995 Ford Ranger supercab XLT 2 wheel drive, 2.3 4 cyl. manual trans. My oil pressure gauge seems to work, my battery gauge just sits on the bottom, the temp gauge seems to work, the speedometer, gas gauge, and the tachometer all work, but my odometer does not (neither trip nor regular), then some of the lights on the dash do work, some do not. My seatbelt, battery, and airbag lights all work, but my check engine light is out ( i only know because ive hooked it up to a computer and i am receiving codes). If there are any suggestions on what may be causing this i would greatly appreciate it.

 

It's a 20 year old truck.. check to make sure the bulbs haven't blown out. Also, check your fuses.

 

I have changed all of the fuses, I figured most of it was bulbs, but what about the gauges that will not register and the odometer?

 

I'm having the same issues, 1998 ranger v6 XL. All 6 lights in my dash went out so I replaced the headlight switch. Which it had burnt out but even after I replaced it none of my dash lights returned. All my gauges work but no lights. check your tail lights too, mine were out until I replaced the head light switch.

Even with only 111,000 I am fixing this truck every month.
