this is a picture out of a ebay listing, it is a 06 toyot tacoma and its got some things done to it. that link is a picture of strobe lights built into the lights. my question is, does anyone know where to get those and if they would be hard to intall?

whelen is a good company all the pros use..

1" hole.wires.switch good to go

Do it right and make sure it's water tight unless you like looking at condensated headlights....

ya those are real whelen strobes you have to drill into the headlights. the kits are kinda pricey but there the best you can get... police issue style...

You can get the cheapy ricer kits for like $20-$30 at advanced/pep boys/autozone

ya, if i wanted to know if you thought what i was doing was stupid or not, i would have asked. i never said i was gonna drive around with them on, i have a weird upsession with lights, and like the way they look. keep the negative comments to your self.

I would guess that they are illegal in most states, unless your a volunteer fireman, towing company, or other emergency personel but several different types can be bought online. Some of the less expensive ones are intended for show car type applications and can be linked to your sound system to flash to music. All true strobes require a controller matched the particular type and number of strobes you are using.

Towing catalogs also have them. 55 watters, 3/4 or 3" hole in housings, pretty awesome stuff. Police/tow/fire/emt, etc stuff. Pricey as hell, but those crap ones from like autozone are crap. I wouldn't mess with them. Silocone is your friend when installing these babies.
