My truck is a 3.0 V6 and i've got a Flowmaster Super 40 3" SI/SO with a turned down tip and i had the pipe between the muffler and cat upgraded to a 3" pipe and its a very deep loud tone and when u get into the higher RPM's it really sounds mean.

go flows SI/DO with 3 1/2" tips. looks and sounds great. the bigger the pipe you go, the clearer she sounds but you start to lose power and benefits around 3" so i wouldnt go over 2 1/2" pipe.

yeah i have the single inlet dual outlet flow 40 series, and as long as you use 2 1/2" tubing w/ 3" tips, it sounds great. no idea about sound clips, but the idle is wicked, and if you get unrestricted intake when u stomp on it, it really opens it up and makes it meeeean. plus it adds a few horsepower. never hurts.

When I took mine to the muffler shop I already had the muffler and all i did was tell em to put that one on, upgrade the pipe between the cat and muffler, and turn the exhaust down. Just know what u want it took me 3 tries b4 i got my exhaust like i wanted it to sound.
