ABS problem

I have a problem with my ABS system. I searched through the other forums and couldnt find a thread that was the same but i figured someone might be able to help me out.

I recently replaced the rotors and pads and immediately after i repacked the bearings, put in new bearing seals, and torqued the bearing nut (hanes manual specs) the light came on as soon as i drove it down the street. Occasionally the light will go off and the brakes will make a grinding noise when i hit the breaks and the light will eventually go on and it will stop somewhat normally with the light on.

I took the rotors and bearings off again and retorqued them again and same problem. I even cleaned up the ABS sensors. I am wondering why the ABS started acting up as soon as i did it so i dont think it is a sensor, but who knows. Any input is appreciated. -03 ranger edge 2wd (i also upgraded to ceramic pads and powerslot rotors if that makes any difference) thanks!

You may have the wrong rotors.Did you check to see if they have the sensor ring on the inside ?
There were some posts on this forum a while back about this , IIRC in the drivetrain section.

IIRC = If I Remember Correctly
I'd hate to see how many hits you'd get if you typed 'iirc' in the search box.
