Radio issues

ok so the other night i took my truck out for a drive, listened to the radio, everything was fine. I come out the next day and start the truck and the radio turns on but i have no power running to the amps, so no sound. it had happened to me before so i figured it was the remote wire.
i replaced the remote wire but now the radio will not turn on at all. no lights, no anything. my next step was to check the fuses to see if i might have accidently blown something. the radio fuse had blown, so i replaced it. but still nothing. unhooked the harness that i got to wire the aftermarket headunit and plugged in the factory one, still nothing.
i went to check voltages, and i got nothing from the constant +12 or the switched +12 and i have no clue where to go from here.

are there any extra fuses or any steps i might try to get my power back?

also, i accidently touched the 12v switched and 12v constant wires together and got a chime, so this is really confusing me. wouldnt that mean that theres power somewhere?
