Hey guys I just bought a 02 ranger with a 2.3 4 banger and it has a miss to it (No check engine Lights on only an abs light is on). I have put new plugs in and gapped them correctly. I pulled the iac off and it was clean but have no clue if it's bad I don't know how to tell. Anyways when cold it's starts up and runs but has a miss and seems to get worse the hotter the truck gets. It goes down the road ok while driving and can tell it has a miss but still drives. When come to complete stop it wants to die unless I keep my foot on gas a little. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated I really don't wanna keep chasing my tail. Thanks!!

How many miles are on your truck? theres a lot more to a tune up vs just plugs and cleaning the iac.

if its higher miles and you don't know if parts are original or not, spend a little money and put good quality parts(motorcraft) and your truck will thank you.
