Do you mean, like straight power from the battery?

And what do you mean "under the box" like on the frame? You could tap into your tailight harness that is running under there.

After reading some reviews off the website

Sounds like the instructions state you have to run the turn signal wire to the front of the truck.

The wiring instructions leave a great deal to be desired. It requires 5 wires to work. One for the left turn signal, one for the right turn signal, one for the break, one for A+ voltage (constant) and one for ground.

I contacted the company asking for clarification on the wire schematic provided, I received an email that looked like it was written by a third grader instructing me to run two wires to the front of my truck and attach to my turn signals. I responded to this with a message asking if they were joking? They responded back and repeated the first message and also instructed me to run a wire to my third break light. This is on a Dodge 2500 RAM.

For a couple of dollars more, they could have added a logic circuit to the bar and done everything properly. It's a really poor design.
