Has anyone intalled one of these gas tank filler necks from Ebay?
98 99 00 Ford Ranger Mazda Truck Fuel Tank Filler Neck:eBay Motors (item 110422007903 end time Aug-17-09 03:19:43 PDT)

Just want to make sure they aren't junk. I think the dealership wants ~$400 for this part.

that dont look anything like my 97....why dont you just get one off craigslist....there are a million rangers getting parted out..

Man I had one of those last year to replace mine on my 97, but 97 is different so I think I tossed it. I will check my shop this afternoon, if I still have it I can send it to you for the cost of shipping.

If you have a 98-00 ranger, that filler neck from the 97 won't work.

You find a grille surround off an 01-03 Edge for cheap and that the seller isn't a douche and will ship up here, you'll be the guru of it all.

I have one. The metal flange part didnt have the holes so the vapor goes back into the hose. So what I did is took the hoses off the new piece and used my stock flange (after some paint, it was rusty)
