Noise from my heater/ac fan.

I turn on the fan for my Heater/AC in my 2002 Mazda B3000, I hear a noise that sounds like something loose. The higher I turn the fan the louder the noise. It kind of sounds like a leaf leaf or something caught in the fan. The noise sounds like its coming from around the glove box around the passenger dash. What will I need to remove to get inside and see if something is caught in there? What other problem could it be?

I had this last fall...a small leaf got caught in the fan/squirrel cage. the fan is mounted in the engine bay, passenger side all the way at the top. Take it off and carefully remove the leaves.

IF you have access to a blow gun. You can try to open the max ac door and blow air at the cage from the pass side floor. This can dislodge the leaf and send into the duct work. It should work its way out.

I have found the honey locust trees are the main problem for this. They are a tree with fern like leaves.
