Hey all as the title suggests I'm having an issue with my passenger power locks not working correctly.

When you hit the button or remote it won't unlock but you get the click noise from the actuator and it seems to try to unlock the Passenger door. If all ready unlocked it will usually be able to lock it using the electronic door buttons or remote. Otherwise the lock works perfectly manually on that side.

Anyways my first thought was maybe the actuator went bad so i took everything apart and replaced the actuator with a brand new one only to have the same results.

Now I'm at a loss of what it could be. Any ideas? So would be nice to resolve this because its become a major annoyance.

Btw driver side works perfect. Go figure.

 

nm I'm an idiot it is working perfectly with the new actuator. Been so long since I've had power locks on both sides I forgot you have the hit the button twice to unlock both the driver and passenger side

One problem though I did lose the little metal half ring/washer that goes over the door lock that keeps the rod attached to it :( cant seem to find it in the door or shake it loose. So a trip to home depot or autozone is probably in order. Problem is I'm not sure what size ring it is.
