that is awesome. I am wanting to do this too, whats the amp rating on that isolator?

we put these isolators in at work but they are like a foot long and are 240 Amp isolators. look just like that though.

is the marine battery a deep cycle?

i have a blue top that is not a deep cycle. is why I asked. I'm sure since he has a red top he would get the deep cycle for the other, but still.

It's a 95 amp isolater . made by Sure power inc. The hardest part of this Mod is drilling out the spot welds of the battery tray. thanks=brian

New battery tray is 14x101/2". you must cut the corner rad support a little. Hardest part is drilling out battery tray spot welds. Move the ABS assembly easy , the brake line move easy. Cut and remount ABS bracket in new hole.See pictures=.

It was part of the server crash yesterday. Most of the attachments were lost. I'd PM the guy and see if can re-post them if you are really interested.

My truck is 2006, if your truck is out of warranty , it's yours to mod.

You definitely got a sweet mod going on, kudo's for sharing photo's. Nah i just bought the vehicle used with a extended warranty but for some reason, i can't find a batter larger then 540 cca that will fit in the stock battery box, without modifying it, that's where the question came in if i was allowed to modify such an area without voiding my warranty . Thanks

Why do this on a ranger? What are you needing that extra power for?

I'd like to do this to have my second battery running my audio, because right now I have some dimming issues, and also I do think I will be getting more accessories eventually.
