Well Now I've Done It

Well here it is.

Good news first. I got the OHC wired and finished.

Bad news. I didn't get the auto mirror installed (I cracked the windshield from top to bottom trying to get the old one off. Who knew glass was so brittle so now I gotta wait till I get new glass installed. So anyway how do you get those things off (WITHOUT CRACKING THE GLASS)

Loosen the setscrew?

I paid $185 for a new windshield, installed, at my work parking lot.

also, you may be able to have them install the new mirror when they replace the wind shield. you would have to do your own wiring i bet, but have them mount it in place.

and x2 on the "theres a set screw?"

The windshield guy will take care of it.

Just leave the auto-dim mirror on the seat for HIM to install, lol.

That sucks you had to go through a windshield to figure this out.

Good Luck.

Alright problem fixed. I now have a shiny new windshield with the auto mirror attached. Now all I gotta do is wire it.
