Fog Lights

About a month ago my stock fog lights stopped working. I know they are not blown, I checked both bulbs and the switch in the cab doesnt even have its green light come on anymore. I checked all the fuses in the cab fuse box, and replaced any that were blown. Checked again last night and they are still not working. Can someone tell me how to get these things working again? I know nothing about electrical stuff.

Since the “On” light in the switch isn’t working, maybe it is the switch that is the problem !

Not sure just thinking out loud.

If you have another switch swap it around, LoL…

If no extra sw then you will need the wiring schematics (I do not have it) check the power coming in and out.

x2 check power in and out, and just touch the wire form the battery to the wire to the fogs

i would look close @ the fuses cause ive had to deal with one that was fractured just enough that the slightest bump would cut the circuit but as scrambler says it could be the switch & if not i would check the wires they might have shorted out some were & fried the solenoid and/or the switch

Maybe IF you can try a jumper to the lights just to see if they work, might save time in the long run, good idea.

When you push the switch on the dash, do you hear the relay click under the hood ?

Hey H,
How’s this coming along, did you find the problem ?

I have been reading this over and was wondering, have you changed anything in the Dash area, new radio, worked on the heater controls ?

Pull your Radio, pull the Center Bezel and have a look see at the wiring; it should not have changed if you didn’t get in there but who knows weirder things have happened.

luck,
