2005 fuel pump wire harness connector

While removing the fuel tank of my 2005 2.3l, I broke the electrical connector that plugs into the fuel pump. So without paying a whole lot of attention I clipped off the 4 wires and took the plug to the dealer to buy a replacement. When I got the replacement I noticed that the new plug along with the original were built with all 4 pigtail wires being black.
Now the problem is when I look at the wire harness under the truck I see that the 4 wires are as follows, one black, one red with black stripe, one yellow with white stripe and one black with white stripe.
So now I need to solder the wiring harness to the new connector but I don't know the color pinout for the connector. Which color wire connects to each of the 4 pins of the connector?

Pin 1 - Black with White stripe = ground for fuel level indicator.

Pin 2 - Yellow with White stripe = gauge side for fuel level indicator.

Pin 3 - Black = ground side of fuel pump.

Pin 4 - Pink with Black stripe = power feed to fuel pump

Thanks Rev. Is your pin out according to the top or bottom picture?

According to the pin out diagrams I have and based on your lower picture, pin 1 is where you have pin 4, i.e., reversal of the layout you have marked.

If you want, PM me an email addy and I'll forward the diagrams.

If you still have the original connector, there should be enough of the old wiring left inside the connector to possibly identify the color coding. You may have to release the terminals to back them out of the connector.
