you should have a factory foglight harness already installed, no matter if your truck came with factory fogs or not, it will be behind the radio bezel, all you will need is the switch...i think lol someone please correct me if im wrong

nah i have decided to go with my usual route, since i originally has a 01 non power 3.0 i have since upgrade the engine and the inside truck harness that leads to the tails, and added doors complete with locks and harness to convert oem style to my ranger, so today i went to the yard and pulled a entire underhood fuse box and entire harness from one end to the next, and pulled the dash complete with harness and all wires included along with harness to tail lights, this way i can do a complete swap and have plug and play foglights/switch and WALLA,

I will be doing a complete write up with video and pics.

I am new here so I was late reading this thread.
I had done a similar thing with adding fog lights to a 2000 Blazer.
All the wiring was there behind the dash so I had to buy from the JY an OEM headlight switch with the fog light switch in it and just plugged the wires in to it. I had to change the turn signal lenses to the OEM fog and turn lenses. and also the headlight wiring harness that included the fog light plugs. But they still did not work.
I found out that the computer had to be programmed for fog lights. Once that was done they worked Great. I don't know if Ford is the same way but I hope this helps some one.
