LED Stock Radio internal lighting swap

Has anyone ever taken apart the stock ranger radio and swapped the lighting to LED? I'm sure it can be done, but I've never taken my radio apart to see what makes her tick inside.

Thinking about doing something like this:

Yup, that’s the one.
It is time consuming more than anything else.
You need liquid flux, a must for surface mount work, both desoldering and soldering new components.
