Disconnecting the battery on a 2001

How long can I safely disconnect the battery on a 2001 without worrying about the computer or other things that need constant power?
Thanks guys(and gals?)

guesstimate - 30 seconds
they won't be damaged but radio stations might need resetting and the engine managment will reset it self- both harmless

I think what Neil meant was that if you only disconnect your battery for 30seconds or less you wont lose any of your preset radio stations, etc etc.

Zach was saying that you can indefinitely take out your battery and it will not screw up your truck.

But yes, you can disconnect your battery for as long as you want and all that will happen is you'll need to reset your radio stations

OH GOD...NEVER REMOVE THE BATTERY!!!!!!!

WHAT ARE YOU THINKING????!!!!!

.....it does nothing. If you can handle reprogramming your clock and radio stations....you're good to go.
