Drum Brakes Tensioning Bolt

When i opened my back right drum brake, the tensioning bolt just fell out. Would/could this make the entire brake system have a splashy brake pedal?

If you're referring to the adjuster mechanism, most definitely. Any time parts fall out when removing the drum is a sign that somethings in dire need of repairs!
