Check out this "truely independent" test of different air filters:

It's hard to believe that a sleeze-bag company like Amsoil has brainwashed so many people!!! I have never seen so many lies, and deceit, as they have on their website....they try and make you believe that all their oil products are API certified, in reality, only 2 of their oil products are API certified, PCO, and XL.

What's wrong with their filters and oil? Care to post some links/information to back up those statements?

That link doesn't work for me. I did some clicking on that site though and came up with this:
http://eolcs.api.org/DisplayCompanyI...mpanyID=226450
Yeah I used to run their 5w30 until I did a complete switch over to Royal Purple. Never had issues with their oil/filter, went to royal purple because it was easier to get (NAPA has it in stock all the time)
It would be nice if you could post more info to back up all your statements. If they truly are as bad as you say, it would be nice to pass on that info to people that use their products.

I don't know why my link didn't work, I cut and pasted it from another thread.
Your's seems to work, you just have to click on "show products", thanks!.
I think the API URL proves that there are only 2 Amsoil products API certified!!
Another thing to keep in mind with Amsoil products, the reason their prices are so inflated, is due to the MLM (Multi Level Marketing) structure. Amsoil
is only a blender, and packaging company, they buy their base stock from
"real" oil companies.
