I'd say 10 for satisfaction, 8 for difficulty.

I paid about $130 total: $60 for the head unit, $40 for a new Blend Door Actuator and about $25 for everything else. The first Fan Speed Controller died a couple of days after the installation but I got another one from a junkyard for $5.

wooooo hooooo! got her fixed!

i had to add another SPST relay to the mix.....seems as if the EATC HU doesn't put out enough volts/amps to run a '95-'97 purple wire configeration......the purple wire in a '95-'97 goes directly from the HU to the low pressure switch (this from Bob).....the purple wire in a '98+ Explorer takes a low voltage/amp signal to the PCM and then the PCM decides when to send the proper voltage/amp to the low pressure switch (again from Bob)........

i added the SPST relay wired in like the attached image shows.....i would say if anyone talks to John Griggs, pass this info to him so he can edit his Car Domain How-To.....again this is for '95-'97 Rangers with a '98+ EATC setup....
