It's actually pretty easy to install the 7 pin plug, and a brake controller. Use this
plug. It gives you the 4 pin & 7 pin plugs. It simply plugs into the existing 4 pin plug on the truck, and all you have to do is run wires back to the cab for the brake controller, and aux 12v (if you choose to have that).

. Then it's just a matter of wiring in the brake controller. I did my entire install in less than 2hrs (including a beer run).
