I had to take a wire to each visor and put a ring terminal on it. Put one of the 3 screws for the visor through it. The screws are the ground for the visor. In the explorer they don't have the plastic things the rangers have for the screws. I took the other side and ran it to where I grounded the OHC.

The hardest part was holding up the visor, getting the screw to go through the ring terminal that was between the headliner and roof of the Ranger and screwing all at the same time.

I want the visor out of the newer expeditions. They have buttons built in for garage door openers and such.

Some Explorer visors have the Homelink built in. OR, you can add the Homelink module to your existing visors by unstitching it, installing the module and then sewing it back up.
