Icon4 Headlights totally died! wtf and hazards stopped

I have 2 100W Off road lights wired to a Relay to kick on with my high beams, on the high beam wire, sodered and taped.

So im driving down a dead road, just now, kick on my high beams ( and off road lights) and all the headlighs die after a split second and it goes down to the park lights, tried kicking it to low beam still nothing. I had no headlights at all??? then like 10 seconds later the low beams came back on.

?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????

If a fuse would've burnt they wouldnt have come back on. What the hell??? What Do I do and what happened?

Also

I have All LED's and a signal mod and a EP27, now my hazzards dont work with the lights on and truck running, they only work with the truck off, or the lights off. WHY??

.

Honestly The only thing I see you saying it that there polorized and they might work if i turned my 194's around? also I could try changing the EP 27 to a new one again.

Still have no Idea why my headlights died on me and came back on

No.

They are polarized, that is true. So, they only work if the + lead has the + voltage.

With the side marker mod in place, the + lead on the LEDs only gets the + voltage when the lights are off. If your parking lights are on, then the + lead on the LEDs gets the - voltage and the - lead on the LEDs gets the + voltage. This is why they don't light.

I didn't say to turn them around. I said to wire in another set of LEDs, parallel to the ones that are currently there, except attach the + lead of the new LED to the - lead of the old LED; likewise, attach the - lead of the new LED to the + lead of the old LED.

Once this is done, one or the other of the LEDs will light, no matter which way the voltage is flowing through the circuit. As such, your signals will work whether you have your parking lights on or not.

low beam headlights are almost always on a circuit breaker. which means they will come back on.

But why would the high beams die? I have the off road lights on a relay so they dont draw aditional power from the lights

Did they work before you put the off road lights on? I suspect the added wiring to be at fault..

YEah, I've never had this problem before. It was like a one time thing. I wonder if the relay for the off road lights may have drawed enough to make the breaker pop out on the truck's high beams. I dont know why It would though.

And the Hazzards just seamed to have stopped recently. Napa told me there was no Warenty on the EP 27.

I dont get why they work with the lights on and truck off but not with the truck running and lights on.

well, just keep asking every couple days. perhaps the laws of physics will change, and you'll get a different answer.

How did you wire that relay? I have a feeling you didn't wire it right.

Relay should go like this:

30 - 12+ constant
85 - Ground
86 - tapped from one high beam wire on the headlight pigtail
87 - to off road lights.
