Blank Slate (too blank)

Ok folks, new to the Ford world. I purchased a Ranger with manual door locks and windows, after a month of this it is getting old. Is the wiring harness run to the door no matter what? Ideally I would like to buy the kits from the dealer and drop them in. Not that I am scared of wiring, I would rather not, and I am not a big fan of the after-market kits, did that with a Jeep and hated it.

You're in my boat. I've got a 03' XLT with the same deal. I'm currenty in the process of getting all the stuff from another memeber. I am going to do a write up on it when i do it. I don't like aftermarket kits, and i want a clean stock look.

I'll let you know when I get it all done.

I've had manual windows and door locks for 2+ years now.

America is too lazy.

Yea I might be lazy but... eh too much work to finish that sentence.

Is the wiring running up to the door? Is it just missing the switches and actuators?

Lazy is my middle name. I like the junkyard idea, I just need to find a good u-pull-it place.

I do believe that the harnesses and connectors are all there. You just need the other stuff.
