gauge console replacment

This is the problem. 1999 ford ranger 3.0, change gauge console because old owner but new face covers on and gauges were not reading properly. Found used console from a 1999 ford ranger and the odm. was only of by about 150 miles. Switched gauge console, but also switch removable circuit card at back of console. I beleive the tach is working and mph is working correctly also gas guage. But odm does not turn, and I don't think the temp, oil,or amp are working. Question should I have left the removable cards alone, or is something else I need to do. Any Answers Thanks
