Get down under the throttle pedal and find the cable... zip tie around the cable until the slack is gone...

The throttle pedal pivots, at the top of the pedal assembly the cable runs through the firewall and to the pedal. The cable runs through the pedal and through a spring. After this spring there is sometimes slack in the cable... If there is slack, pull the cable tight (without opening the throttle body) and put small zipties around the cable until the slack is gone. Get down there and look around, its pretty self explanatory once you look at it and is a quick and easy fix to your problem...
