I've got LED bulbs in my turn signals and marker lights(corners), and I love em. Look perfectly white when off, and produce a amber glow when on. However now my turn signals cycle about 2 times faster, I believe because LED bulbs have less resistance and turn on instantly. Anyway, what's the procedure for slowing them down? Something to do with putting a resistor inline? I also have the turn signal mod done which makes my corner bulbs blink too.

It could also be because the default notification device on basically any vehicle is to cause the blinker to blink rapidly when one is not working, so since you have the LED's in there it may be the ECM saying the bulb is blown or nonexistent and thus causing the shorter delay between flashes. I dunno though cause I haven't dealt much with the blinkers on my truck.

yeah, you have to solder some resistors into the circuit cuz the lights don't have the same resistance as the stock ones. it's simple, you just need to know which ones to get.

Go to the auto parts store. Get heavy duty / electronic turn signal flasher. They are designed for varying loads and flash at the same rate regardless of the type of light. They cost 4 dollars and pop right in. No soldering, no splicing, no resistors.
