Front rotor size questin?

Hey guys, Im hoping someone can shed some light no this. I want to order new from rotors, and all the ones from summit say the diameter are 11.2 but when i looked up the stock replacments on autozones site it says they are a 12 rotor. What size do i need or will the ones from summit work too? its on a 03 edge 4x4 4.0

you probably have 12" rotors but the others will work too. Rockauto has a good selection of rotors. I would stick with 12"

03+'s are 12"....get 12's. Otherwise, if you get smaller, the pad ain't gonna grip much rotor...

they say that, but I still haven't seen an 03 with small rotors, mine was made 02/03 and I had 12" rotors, switched to the smaller ones after the RCD and my braking is better since I got drilled and slotted rotors

Yes, Ford did change the 4x4 rotors in mid 2003 model year. Early were 11.28" and late were 12". The knuckles are also different so you have to get the right ones. A Ford dealer can tell you whether yours are early or late by checking the VIN or the build date.

The parts system usually splits by build date (on the driver door sticker) but I believe they can check it by VIN through OASIS as well. Go to the dealer with both pieces of information and you'll be covered either way.
