Hey gues I just installed my auto dimming mirror and also did the auto headlamps. For some reason my headlights are turning on during the day. I'm not sure what is wrong with it. I followed the how to. Step by step. Any help or input is appreciated

If the sensor is covered it will think its night.

 

I was going to say, maybe it has the headlight on sensor.

Re-read the instructions and see if there is an auto-on sensor.

Do the headlights turn off after you turn the truck off ?

Do you need the headlight switch turned on for them to come on automatically ?

What kit, as mentioned above ?

 

I did not install a kit, it's the explorer auto dimming mirror/ headlamp how to... Yes if my truck is off the headlights turn off after the delay period, no my switch does not have to be on for them to work. Also I thought about that I think the mirror may be faulty. The mirror dims properly, and I wired the relays to the diagram posted in the how to. Any help would be appreciated

 

Maybe it makes them daytime runners.

 

I don't know what it is yet, anyone have any suggestions
