Headlight problem

In my 98 I am having a problem with the headlights. They won't shut off at all. I don't know what to do other than disconnecting the battery all the time. Even thinking that it might reset something it doesnt. Can someone help me with this it is very annoying.

Check your headlight switch to see if it is shorted out.

The headlight have a fuse for each side. Its a 10a for left and right (low beams). This will help you from disconnecting the battery in the short term.

Being in Canada i would be your DRL module is causing you issues. Its located on the core support behind the head lights. If you lay on the ground and look up you should see it. It will be the only module on the driver side. Unplug it and you will be in US spec meaning no DRL's. If your issue is gone than it was you problem.

Post back with a result, if need be I will dig in the manual for you.
