It's 35 and raining, but it's T-Shirt weather in the garage.

What questions do you have about the install, Marc?

If I had to do it again...I would wire it to a switch or the purple wire behind the HVAC. Yes, I have seen the light!

Some info here about wiring to a on-off-on switch.

I have a switch I would like to wire it to. However, it is only a 2 position switch. Should I wire it to the a/c clutch or the purple wire? Where is the purple wire?

Well, I'm finally finished. It took me a while as I am a stupid perfectionist and I work slow. It's not completely finished as I would like to mount the fan in the stock fan shroud eventually, however, it is working. I ended up connecting the 12v switch to the radio and the green wire to the purple wire both behind the radio. The difference in noise level is drastic to say the least. The only noise I can hear is my exhaust now. I'll post more pictures after I mount the fan in the shroud.

Thank you! I can't get over how much quieter my truck is now. I haven't adjusted the temperature potentiometer yet, however, my truck stayed a little below halfway across the temperature gauge on my way to work today. I don't think the fan even came on, although I can't be sure until I wire up a led. Speaking of which, does anyone know which wire to put the led on so that I know when the fan is in operation. I just had my differential rebuilt so I don't want to get on it to find out if it has more power. It does, however, run really smooth. The only thing I'm worried about is the plastic clips that are holding the fan to the radiator. I will be mounting it to the stock fan shroud soon enough. One more thing. I couldn't get the temperature probe to stick in the fins of the radiator so after it was insterted I applied some silicone caulking around the base of the probe to make it stick. I only put a very small amount on. Do you think that will hurt anything?

Good job, I would think you would run the LED off of the power wire going from the controller to the + wire going to the EFan.

I'm just wondering if it would be a good idea to put an LED in line with the powersupply to the fan or if there is something on the controller I can tap into.
