Heat and Air Problem

I'm having a climate control problem with my 98' Mazda B3000. The air conditioner is on all the time. Which, of course means I have no heat. The only way to turn the air off is to unplug it. The control panel (with all three switches) was diagnosed as the most likely culprit and replaced with no change. The next answer I recieved was that the vaccum pump was not working so I had it changed. It did not correct the problem. If anyone has any suggestions they would be much appreciated.

Funny, when I turrn the dial to AC it only blows hot air from the heater core, but max ac still works. I am trying to fix my problem right know too, I hope I dont have as much trouble as you.

Could it be that your AC comperssor cluch is stuck?
