help with exhaust

I got a 96 3.0 ranger and I want to buy an exhaust TIP that will improve the sound, something more of a rumble. I don't want it loud loud where it's illegal so no I'm not gonna straight pipe it.Seriously just looking to see what's the best exhaust tip that will make the biggest difference. A good smooth, decent loud rumble. I know and exhaust system with the whole muffler and new pipe and what not is best but I'm just looking for a tip for now. Can anyone help?

I don't imagine you'll find a TIP that'll do any of that. You're going to need a catback system at the least.

Best I feel is a flowmaster delta 50 worst would probably be some cheap muffler off the shelf from AutoZone like a glasspack. My 3.0 is currently straight piped and it sounds okay at low rpm, but gets a little obnoxious at anything over 2500rpm. I'm eventually getting a flowmaster 50 delta, but the sound is livable.... With the windows up or the radio on.

Ok, thanks. I don't want to straight pipe it because I don't want it to be louder than my stereo. Probably go with the system you said.
