i got my k&n intake kit but i have that damn air tempurature sensor and it calls for a 11/16" drill bit but i cant find one anywhere, has anyone else had this problem and figured out what to do or do i even need the air temp sensor installed any help would be great.

 

If you can get a 5/8" drill bit use it. You'll just need to enlarge the hole by another 1/16" over all. Use a half round or round file to open up a little at a time until the grommet and sensor fit.

 

It's an odd size bit but you should be able to find them at the smaller local hardware stores. If not do what Rev says, that's what I'd do. Just take your time and don't enlarge it to much or you'll have a nice leaky intake.
