Need Help With Noise!

I have a 01 ranger edge that has a squeaking noise coming from the motor when it is warm and is idling. I have replaced the idler pulley. Could it be the belt? It does not squeak all the time. Any help to what this could be would be great! Thanks.....

Check your belt tensioner and see if your power steering pulley is lined up right.

Change the belt. They are cheap and easy to replace, so start there first. I and most other members recommend the Goodyear Gatorback belt.

Squeak in the front of the engine is usually belt, tensioner or idler pulley. From the rear of the engine, it could be the Camshaft Position Sensor/Synchronizer assembly

I can really hear the noise from underneath the truck. That makes me believe its from the back of the motor. I just replaced the idler pulley last night with no luck. So I will start with a new goodyear belt. I am sure it is the original belt.
